Listing Guidelines
These rules keep the marketplace accurate and safe for everyone who uses it. They apply to every listing, and sit alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Last updated: 2026-10-03
Be accurate and current
Everything in a listing must be true and up to date: the price, size, location, property type, number of rooms, features and whether it is still available.
- Update or remove a listing when the property is sold, rented or no longer available.
- A live listing stays up for 30 days. We ask you to confirm it is still available before it expires, and it comes down if you do not.
What is not allowed
- Fake, fraudulent or misleading listings, including properties that do not exist or that you cannot offer.
- Duplicate listings of the same property, especially to gain extra visibility.
- Intentionally wrong prices, locations, property types, sizes or features.
- A price that is a placeholder or bait, such as an unrealistically low price to attract enquiries.
- Misrepresenting ownership, availability or legal status.
- Content that is illegal, discriminatory, abusive, threatening or sexually explicit.
- Personal data of other people, identity documents or confidential information in a listing's text or photographs.
- Using the listing to advertise something other than the property, or to send spam.
Photos and videos
- Photos and videos must show the actual property being advertised, as it is now.
- You must own the photographs and videos or have permission to use them. Do not use images taken from other listings, websites or brochures.
- Each photograph can be up to 5 MB, and a listing can have up to 12. One video of up to 500 MB can be added.
- We add a Property Khareedo watermark to listing photographs and prepare smaller copies so pages load quickly.
- Do not add phone numbers, watermarks of other companies or promotional text to photographs.
A video is uploaded to our video channel as unlisted. It becomes public only after our team approves it, and it is not shown to buyers before then.
How review works
Every new listing is reviewed by our team before it is shown publicly. We check it against these guidelines. If images look reused or doubtful, we may tag the listing as having unverified images, which is shown to buyers as a warning.
Once a listing is approved, later edits do not need another review, but it must still follow these guidelines. A video added or replaced on an approved listing is reviewed on its own.
Review is not a guarantee of ownership, legal title or condition. See Safety & Fraud Prevention.
What we may do
Property Khareedo may review, reject, suspend, edit or remove any listing that breaks these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions, and may restrict accounts that repeatedly do so. We may also act on a listing that has been reported to us, and where the law requires it.
If your listing is rejected
- You are told the reason, by email and on your Listings Status page.
- Open the listing and change what the reason points to: correct the details, replace the photographs, or remove the problem.
- Save it. A rejected listing that you edit and save goes back into the review queue automatically. You do not need to delete it or post it again.
- Our team reviews it again. If it now follows the guidelines it is approved.
If you believe a rejection was a mistake, contact us through Contact Us and tell us which listing it was.
Report a listing
If you see a listing that breaks these rules, please tell us. Use the Report button on the listing's page, or the Report a Listing form.
