Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, failed or duplicate payments and refund requests are handled for Property Khareedo's paid services.

What is paid on Property Khareedo

Browsing, searching, contacting owners and agents, and posting listings within your free allowance cost nothing. The paid services are:

  • An extra listing slot, to keep more listings live than your free allowance.
  • A Featured listing, which shows a property in the Featured section on the home page.
  • A Boost, at one of several levels, which places a listing higher in search results.

Each is a one-time purchase for a fixed period. They are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel to stop a future charge. The price and the period are shown at checkout, before you pay, and those are the terms that apply to that purchase.

How payment works

Payment is taken by an online payment provider. A service is switched on only after the provider confirms that your payment has been received. Until it is confirmed, nothing is activated and your order stays pending.

Your orders, with their order numbers and status, are listed on your Billing page.

Cancelling

  • Before you pay: you can leave the payment page at any time. Nothing is charged, the order is closed as cancelled, and you can start again later.
  • A payment page that is left unfinished expires after a limited time. Before we close it we ask the payment provider whether a payment was in fact made, so a payment that went through is never cancelled by mistake.
  • After you have paid: the service is bought for its fixed period. There is no button to cancel it part-way through. If you need to ask about a paid service, contact us as described below.

Failed or incomplete payments

If a payment fails or is not completed, the order is recorded as failed or cancelled and the service is not activated. You are not charged for it.

Sometimes a bank reports a payment as failed and the money is later confirmed as received. If the payment provider tells us the money did arrive, we activate the service for that order automatically.

If you were charged but the service did not start, contact us with your order number and we will look into it.

Duplicate payments

When the payment provider confirms the same payment more than once, we apply it once. Separate checkouts, however, are separate purchases: if you paid twice for the same thing by starting two checkouts, tell us and send both order numbers.

Refunds

We review refund requests one by one. We will look at, for example:

  • a payment taken twice for the same service;
  • a payment taken for a service that was never activated;
  • a payment taken for an order recorded as failed or cancelled that we could not turn into an active service.

Beyond those cases, a paid service that has been activated and provided for its period is not refunded, in line with our Terms & Conditions, which say fees for completed services may be non-refundable unless a policy or the law says otherwise. Nothing here limits any right you have under the law.

This page does not set a refund period, a fee, or a guaranteed outcome. Each request is decided on its facts, and we tell you the result.

How to request a refund

  1. Write to contact@propertykhareedo.com, or use Contact Us. Please write from the email address registered to your account.
  2. Include the order number (from your Billing page), the date and amount of the payment, and the listing it was for if there was one.
  3. Tell us what went wrong, for example that you were charged twice or that the service did not start.
  4. We review the request and reply with the outcome.

If a refund is approved

An approved refund is returned to the original payment method through the payment provider. How long it takes to appear depends on the provider and your bank, and we do not set a fixed period here.

Payment provider and bank issues

Fees, exchange rates, holds and delays applied by your bank, card issuer or the payment provider are outside our control. If you have a problem with a charge on your statement, your bank or card issuer may also be able to help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. The price and period shown at checkout when you buy always apply to that purchase.
